Booker is a 2000 Standardbred gelding with lifetime earnings in excess of $130,000.00.

He came to the Rescue in August 2010, surrendered by his owner. Booker was injured in transit from California in July 2010. He arrived at the Goshen Historic Track with a badly injured left front leg. The wound was not properly treated and he laid in his stall for 6 weeks - unable to stand.

When his owner was leaving the area - a very kind woman intervened on Booker's behalf and pled with us to help him. Our vet, Dr. Rachael Fiske, assessed the injury and determined that although the injury would cause permanent lameness, he deserved a chance at survival.

He came to our farm and has been a joy to have around. He is not allowed to be turned out yet - the injury will take months to heal. But, he loves to make funny faces best replica watches and meet every new comer with bright eyes and a little nudge.

Booker is under saddle and doing walk, trot in the ring and out on trails. A really energetic and funny horse! Needs a small sized person - he's only 14.2 hands.
